Follow these steps to successfully apply for admission to Ober Boys High School for the 2026/2027 academic year

Check Eligibility & Requirements

Ensure you meet the basic requirements for admission to Ober Boys High School:

  • Completed KJSEA Examination from a recognized primary school
  • Minimum ME1 and above [EE2 and EE1] (for Grade 10 admission)
  • For transfer students: Good conduct report from previous school
  • Age: 13-15 years for Grade 10 entry
  • Kenyan citizenship or valid student visa for international students

Important: Applications for Grade 10 close on 15th January 2026. Late applications may be considered subject to availability of spaces.

Prepare Required Documents

  • Copy of KJSEA certificate
  • Birth certificate (copy)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Copy of parent/guardian National ID
  • Medical report from a registered medical practitioner
  • Transfer letter and leaving certificate (for transfer students)
  • Recommendation letter from previous school headteacher

All documents must be scanned in PDF format (maximum 2MB per document).

  • Get email confirmation of your submission
  • Be able to track your application status online
  • Receive notification for interview/placement test (if applicable)

After successful submission, our admissions team will:

  • Process your application within 4 working days
  • Verify all submitted documents
  • Contact you for any additional information if needed
  • Send admission decision via email and SMS
  • Provide joining instructions if admitted
